Questionmark tries to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information from sources that are as reliable as possible. In spite of this, Questionmark offers no explicit or implicit guarantee that the information offered on or via this website is accurate, complete or up-to-date. Given the enormous amount of information offered, this is also impractical.
In order to create a methodology for comparing products on aspects of sustainability and health, choices are made, which can always be called arbitrary to a certain extent. The choices are deliberately made by specialists within Questionmark, where possible in dialogue with stakeholders from the playing field. The goal of Questionmark, giving simple and unambiguous information to consumers, so that they can make a responsible choice, always plays a role.
Questionmark data is constantly being updated and it is therefore possible that adjustments have been made with respect to previous versions. Mistakes can not be entirely ruled out. If there is a need for it, it will be restored. The database is set up in such a way that improvements can be implemented quickly. If there are objections to certain assessments and these objections are properly substantiated, Questionmark will examine them within a reasonable time, and experts will be consulted if necessary. On this basis, adjustments will be made.
As far as Questionmark is based on results from independent surveys, Questionmark is not responsible for its content.
The information on the packaging of the products has always been used, as they are published in public sources, such as grocery shops. For those information, those who put the products into circulation are responsible. If interested parties can demonstrate that ingredients and nutritional values have changed, Questionmark will examine them within a reasonable timeframe and, if necessary, experts will be consulted. On this basis, adjustments will be made. If information is lacking about the nutritional values, Questionmark uses the data of a 'standard product'; the definition of these standard products comes from the NEVO file of the RIVM.
